Despite being the table leaders, Kitara FC has continued with its underperformance in away games.
The Royals have topped the FUFA Big League table though the team has failed to win any of the away games this year.
Kitara FC have just collected 2 points from two away games this year having drawn Soroti City FC and the latest one Karo Karungi that was played on Thursday, January 19, 2023.
The Pride of Bunyoro travelled to St George Arena in Ibanda with the aim of breaking the deadlock by beating Kaaro Karungi, but ended in a 1-1 draw, thus dropping points.
Kitara dominated the game by leading a goal to nil from Lazaro Bwambale with seven minutes on his debut before a second half equaliser from the hosts in the 50th minute.
Kitara now sit top of the table with 31 points from 15 matches with high pressure from Mbarara City, NEC and Police FC all with 30 points each.
Kitara will next play Northern Gateway SC at the Gate Stadium on Thursday next week at 4pm.
