It has been confirmed that archetypal striker, Patrick Kaddu, has left FUFA Big League side Kitara Football Club of Hoima for Kenya Premier League giants Gor Mahia.
“It is official. Our player Patrick Kaddu will be flying to Kenya to complete negotiations with Gor Mahia FC next week. He has been phenomenal since joining us last September scoring 15 goals in 15 matches. We wish him the best in his new pursuit,” Kitara FC announced in a statement.
Kaddu joined the Royals at the start of the 2022/23 season on a short six-month spell as a free agent.
He leaves after scoring 15 goals in 15 games for Kitara in the first round of the season being second on the scorers’ chart behind Masindi’s Boma FC’s Denis Omedi who has scored 16 goals.
At Gor Mahia, Kaddu will reunite with former Uganda Cranes coach, Jonathan McKinstry who is currently at the helm of the club.
Kitara has already captured stout winger, Godfrey Lwesibawa from Gaddafi and are closing in on free agent attacking midfielder, Paul Muculeezi, who ended tenure with Vipers SC.
